In her research based artistic practice Daria Kozlova (b. 1988, Donetsk, Ukraine) experiments and adopts a wide range of imaginative strategies to explore histories – both personal and political. Her works revolve around memory as an agent of resistance, warfare in liminal spaces, violence and repair. In her recent collaboration with ArwinA she develops a virtual memorial to commemorate victims of politically motivated tortures, that happen in borderlands. Daria currently lives and works in Berlin. She is a member of Interflugs collective and Lensbased class led by Prof. Dr. phil. Hito Steyerl.
